Meet Your Bartender

As long as I can remember, my parents hosted all kinds of parties that would create spaces for friends & family to rest, have fun, & laugh together. Every party had a theme, fun activities, & always good food & drink. My folks never let our tight financial status keep them from executing parties that our guests would literally talk about for years after! Not only were they an example of how to build this kind of intentional community, but they showed me how you can make lasting memories on a budget.

Now I’m taking these tools into my own bartending business, & I’m loving every bit of it!

I began bartending in 2020 after I went to a standalone bartending class for my friend’s bachelorette party, only to walk away feeling more fascinated than I expected. I went back to go through “bartending school” & immediately fell in love with the art of the cocktail. Since then, I’ve worked with catering companies, done freelance work, & read so many books to learn about the methods & chemistry of mixology. I’ve hosted countless parties with themed & intricate beverages, exploring what art & stories I can share through a beverage.. & let me tell you… I’ve been having a BLAST!

Outside of this experience, I’ve also worked on a small team in a multi-billion dollar company to create beverage menus for multiple seasons of events. Between cocktails, mocktails, wines, & beers, we are involved in every single detail of the menu production; from its concept to the guest’s hands. This has been some of the proudest work I’ve ever been able to be a part of.

Being a part of this team made me realize further how much I want to incorporate excellent beverages into my life & the lives of others. In 2024, I decided to take all these years of experience into my own business, & I now have the privilege to do this further & more intimately with my client’s events.

It’s really not just a spiel when I say I cannot stand how the event industry capitalizes on people just wanting to have fun. Do not get me wrong… I completely understand wanting to make money with your business because… *gestures to the world* the economy. However, I purposefully charge about 30% less than my "competitors" because I think it’s unloving to charge outrageous, unmerited prices.

I have the talent & standard for quality that would let me charge more. I choose not to.

I’m here to make the lives of those I serve just that much more joyful. I might not meet every guest again in my life, but that doesn’t erase the fact that they deserve to have a good time. I have connected with so many people & helped take the drama out of booking a bartender. It is a joy to get to create beautiful drinks with & help create spaces for people to rest well.

I cannot wait to continue these efforts with you & your next event! Let’s make something beautiful together!

Cheers!
